College Basketball Betting Trends
Villanova
The Wildcats are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 games as a favorite. Villanova is 2-9-1 ATS in its last 12 road games.
Providence
The Friars are 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games. Providence is 0-5 ATS in its last five games as a home underdog.
Prediction:
Villanova has played some of its best basketball of the season lately, with its win over Butler this week highlighting matters. The Wildcats have a dynamic offense and can count on production from a number of sources, making them hard to stop in any situation. The Friars have lost a couple home games straight up this season to Penn and Butler, plus have dropped three of their last four. I’m banking on Villanova avoiding the letdown spot here.
