Blue Devils hold off Cavs

Duke secured a 72-70 home win Saturday over Virginia in a battle of top 5 teams. The Blue Devils led 37-32 at halftime before holding off Virginia after the break. R.J. Barrett paced Duke with a game-best 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting including 1-of-6 from 3-point distance plus 7-of-11 at the free throw line. He also had five rebounds and three assists. Zion Williamson added 27 points, nine boards and two steals. The Blue Devils shot 26-of-51 from the floor, 2-of-14 from 3-point range and 18-of-31 at the free throw line.

Panthers fall at Orange

Pittsburgh shot 22-of-65 from the field, 11-of-35 from 3-point range and 8-of-14 at the free throw line. College Basketball Betting Trends

The Blue Devils are 7-1 ATS in their last eight Tuesday games. Duke is 2-5 ATS in its last seven games versus the ACC.

The Panthers are 5-1 ATS in their last six home games. Pittsburgh is 17-5-1 ATS in its last 23 games overall.

A normal team might have a letdown after such a big home win, but Duke is no ordinary team. The Blue Devils are healthy aside from the Tre Jones injury and as long as Williamson plus Barrett are in the fold, they have the ability to dominate anyone even on the road. The Panthers already have an 85-60 loss at home to North Carolina, so hanging with Duke doesn't seem very likely. Take the favorites here.
