Seminoles vs. Eagles Prediction
The 11th-ranked Florida State Seminoles have struggled since the start of Atlantic Coast Conference play with only one win in their last four games. Can Florida State get back on the winning track this afternoon at the Boston College Eagles?

Seminoles struggle at Panthers
Florida State dropped to 13-4 overall and 1-3 in the ACC Monday night with a 75-62 loss at Pittsburgh. The Seminoles were outscored 39-28 in the second half of the defeat. Florida State shot 20-of-58 from the floor, 2-of-22 from 3-point distance and 20-of-27 at the free throw line. Trent Forrest was the lone FSU player in double figures for scoring as he tallied 19 points on 4-of-13 shooting plus 11-of-12 at the free throw line. He also contributed nine rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Eagles drop fifth straight
Boston College lost by a count of 80-70 Wednesday night to fall to 9-7 on the season and 0-4 in the ACC. The Eagles were outscored 43-33 in the first half to lead to the loss. Boston College shot 27-of-60 from the field, 7-of-23 on 3-point tries and 9-of-12 at the free throw line. Jordan Chatman paced the Eagles with 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting including 6-of-10 from 3-point distance plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. College Basketball Betting Trends
The Seminoles are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five road games. Florida State is 1-5 ATS in its last six Sunday games.
The Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last seven Sunday games. Boston College is 0-6 ATS in its last six home games.
While Boston College is looking for an elusive ACC win, FSU hasn't been able to put it together either lately with much more promise surrounding its team this season. The Seminoles are very strong defensively as they rank 17th nationally in adjusted efficiency and recently took Duke to the wire. I'm going to chalk the last loss as a letdown and bet on Florida State to bounce back in a big way here.
