Sooners in a funk
Oklahoma is coming off a 74-61 loss at home to Kansas State for their third loss in five games. They are 0-2-1 against the spread in their last three. The Sooners are 13-4 on the season, 2-3 in the Big 12, 3-2 on the road, 12-3-2 against the spread and 12-5 with the under.
The Sooners have been struggling on offense this season, scoring 73.6 points per game while shooting 33.9 percent from the arc. Defensively, Oklahoma is giving up 67.1 points per game while holding opponents to 38.3 percent shooting. Christian James is leading the team with 17.0 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while Brady Manek is adding 11.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per contest.

The Longhorns have been led by their defense, allowing 64.8 points per game while holding opponents to 40.2 percent shooting. Offensively, Texas puts up just 71.5 points per game while shooting only 43 percent. College Basketball Betting Trends
Oklahoma
The Sooners are 5-0-2 against the spread in their last seven road games and 12-3-2 ATS in their last 17 overall.
Texas
The Longhorns are 5-12 against the spread in their last 17 home games and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games against a team with a winning road record.
Prediction:
The underdog has covered the spread in six of the last eight in this series, but Texas is 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings. This is a tough one to call, but I would expect the rivalry game to be close. Both teams match up somewhat evenly. Both rely on defense. However, Texas is just 4-7 ATS at home while Oklahoma is 6-1-2 ATS away from home. I will go with the Sooners getting some points in this one.
