Notre Dame vs. Florida State Pick

CBB Picks: Will Notre Dame stay unbeaten in ACC vs. Florida State?

Can No. 10 Florida State hand No. 15 Notre Dame its first ACC loss when the two meet up tonight at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, Florida State is favored at home, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -6 points against the Irish. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 155 points. FSU has won three of the last four against the Irish while the two are 2-2 against the spread in the four games.

Bet on Notre Dame vs. Florida State

Notre Dame is on a seven-game win streak right now to get to 16-2 on the season and 5-0 in the ACC. The Irish have also covered the spread in four straight to move to 8-3-1 ATS on the season. ND is putting up 81.1 points per game on offense this season while allowing just 66.7 points per game on defense. However, their offense produces just 73.7 points per game on the road. Bonzie Colson is leading the team with 15.8 points and 10.9 rebounds per game while Steve Vasturia is adding 15 points per contest.

Florida State had their winning streak snapped this weekend in a 96-83 loss at North Carolina on Saturday. That dropped the Seminoles to 16-2 overall and 4-1 in the ACC. FSU is 4-1 ATS in its last five and 11-5 against the spread overall on the season, including 8-2 ATS at home. FSU averages 86.5 points per game on the season, including 92.2 points per game at home. Defensively, FSU is allowing 70.4 points per contest for the year. Dwayne Bacon is leading the team with 17.8 points per game while Jonathan Isaac is adding 12.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest.

While Notre Dame has managed to stay unbeaten in the ACC, this is a big step up trying to go on the road to beat the Seminoles. Especially with FSU coming off a loss. Florida State should be plenty motivated for tonight’s game and continue to be an offensive juggernaut at home against a respectable ND defense. I don’t see the Irish having the offense to keep pace with FSU tonight.
