Buffaloes race past Utes
Colorado dominated to the tune of 91-52 Sunday at home over Utah to improve to 13-3 overall and 3-1 in Pac-12 Conference play. The Buffaloes established a 44-22 halftime advantage on their way to the victory. Evan Battey led Colorado with 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting plus 1-of-2 at the free throw line. He also grabbed 10 rebounds for the double-double. McKinley Wright IV contributed 16 points, eight assists, seven boards and two steals. D'Shawn Schwartz tallied 14 points and five caroms. Remy Martin led ASU with 29 points on 9-of-21 shooting including 3-of-8 from 3-point distance plus 8-of-8 at the free throw line. He also registered six assists and three rebounds. College Basketball Betting Trends
Colorado
The Buffaloes are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall. Colorado is 5-2 ATS in its last seven Thursday games.
Arizona State
The Sun Devils are 4-1 ATS in their last five games as an underdog. The home team is 14-2 ATS in the last 16 meetings.
Prediction:
The home team has dominated this series for many years, but I think this is a good spot for the rare road cover in this series. The Buffaloes have only played two true road games and are 1-1 straight up, but the loss was at a powerful Kansas squad so take that one with a grain of salt. Colorado is 17th nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency and should be able to slow down the Sun Devils offense. Look for the Buffaloes to make plays late to get the cover.
