The Cavaliers outscored the Orange 23-19 in the second half to send it into the extra session before being outscored 20-12 in OT. The Seminoles led 41-34 at halftime and continued to keep control after the break. Devin Vassell led FSU with 17 points on 4-of-8 shooting including 1-of-3 from 3-point range plus 8-of-9 at the charity stripe. He also accounted for five rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals. College Basketball Betting Trends
Virginia
The Cavaliers are 36-17 ATS in their last 53 road games. Virginia is 9-4-1 ATS in its last 14 Wednesday games.
Florida State
The Seminoles are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 Wednesday games. Florida State is 6-1 ATS in its last seven home games versus a team with a winning road record.
Prediction:
The Cavaliers’ offense stinks to high heaven and is pretty much directly responsible for all of their four losses. While even the Virginia defense has taken a minor step back recently, it is still ranked third nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency. The issue here is FSU is solid defensively and is the much better team on the offensive end. Virginia might keep up for a while but I see its offense letting it down during the stretch run.
