Florida State vs. Boston College Pick

ACC College Basketball Predictions: Florida State vs. Boston College

Will No. 23 Florida State be able to go on the road and pick up a victory against Boston College when the two meet up tonight at 7PM ET?

According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Florida State is favored on the road, as the Seminoles are getting odds of -3 points against Boston College. The over/under total for the game is listed at 155 points. Tonight’s game is set to take place from Silvio Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts and will air live on ESPNU.

Florida State is coming off a 101-90 OT win over Syracuse this past weekend. Still, FSU is just 2-3 in its last five. The Seminoles are 13-4 overall, 2-3 in the ACC and 10-4-1 against the spread. FSU is averaging 84.6 points per game this year and giving up 70.6 per contest. Terance Mann has been leading the team with 15.1 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. However, Mann is dealing with a concussion that forced him to miss this weekend’s game. Mann is expected to play according to sources from the FSU program. Braian Angola is averaging 14.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game for the Seminoles.

Boston College is coming off a non-conference win over Dartmouth this weekend. However, the Eagles are also just 2-3 in their last five games. BC is now 12-6 overall, 2-3 in the ACC and 6-6 against the spread. The Eagles are averaging 76 points per game while allowing 70.2 per contest. Jerome Robinson has been leading BC this season with 18.1 points per game. Ky Bowman is adding 16.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.

Bet on Florida State vs. Boston College

Florida State has won nine of the last 10 meetings with Boston College and the Seminoles are 7-2-1 ATS in their last 10 meetings. If Mann was out tonight, I would like Boston College, but with him in the lineup, the Seminoles should be able to get the job done. FSU found a way to beat Syracuse without him, so having him return should provide an extra boost. BC hasn’t looked good over recent weeks and are having trouble scoring consistently. The public betting is strong with FSU tonight and I agree. I like the Seminoles to cover.
