According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Hurricanes are now 4-point home favorites versus the Fighting Irish after opening as a 2-point favorite. As for the total, the number hit the board at 139 and that's where it currently sits at the majority of online and Vegas sports books.

MIAMI KEY TRENDS: The Hurricanes are 1-4 against the spread in their last five conference games, are 1-6 against the number in their last seven home games, and have failed to cover in seven of their last eight games as a favorite. Overall, Miami is just 1-8 against the number in their last nine games.

OUR PREDICTION: Miami has had some success against Notre Dame in recent meetings between these two teams, covering in four of the past five games. Ja'Quan Newton and Davon Reed had trouble shooting in the Canes' 70-55 loss to Syracuse but should be more efficient tonight against a Fighting Irish defense that hasn't played great thus far. Plus, freshman D.J. Vasilijevic was a bright spot in the loss to the Orange, coming off the bench to score 18 points.
