Buckeyes struggle at Terrapins

Ohio State lost a third straight game Tuesday night with a 67-55 defeat at Indiana to fall to 11-4 overall and 1-3 in Big Ten Conference action. The Buckeyes trailed 28-22 at haltftime and fell behind further after the break. Kaleb Wesson paced OSU with 15 points on 5-of-13 shooting including 1-of-4 from 3-point range plus 4-of-5 at the free throw line. He also accounted for nine rebounds, three assists and two steals. Andre Wesson tallied 14 points, five boards, two assists and two steals. D.J. Carton added 14 points and three dimes.

Hoosiers outlast Wildcats

Indiana picked up a 66-62 home win Wednesday night over Northwestern to move to 12-3 overall and 2-2 in conference play. The Hoosiers outscored the Wildcats 35-28 at halftime after trailing by three at the break. Trayce Jackson-Davis paced IU with 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting plus 7-of-9 at the charity stripe. He also registered seven rebounds and two blocked shots. Justin Smith contributed 18 points, six boards and three steals. Al Durham added 15 points, four assists and three steals.

College Basketball Betting Trends

Ohio State

The Buckeyes are 11-4 ATS in their last 15 games as a favorite. The road team is 2-7 ATS in the last nine meetings.

The Hoosiers are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games as a home underdog. Indiana is 0-4 ATS in its last four Saturday games.

The Buckeyes might be the most underachieving team in the country over the last couple of weeks considering their talent level, but it's not like they were losing to slouches with all the losses coming to top 40 teams with two games on the road and one in a neutral setting. Ohio State is too good for the struggles to go on much longer and I think it takes advantage of an inconsistent Hoosiers squad that really only has one eye-opening performance this season when it toppled Florida State at home. Take the Buckeyes as the small favorites here.
