College Basketball Betting Trends
Butler
The Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last six road games. Butler is 9-4 ATS in its last 13 games as a favorite.
Providence
The home team is 8-1 ATS in the last nine meetings. The underdog is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 meetings.
Prediction:
The Bulldogs are ranked fifth nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency and have not allowed more than 67 points in a game this season. The Friars also lean on their defense, but is the weaker team on the offensive end. Butler has been strong on the road this season with its one loss being a one-point defeat at Baylor. I'm taking the stronger team here and am surprised the spread isn't a point or two wider.
