Musketeers vs. Golden Eagles Prediction
The 16th-ranked Marquette Golden Eegles will look to even their Big East Conference record at 1-1 this afternoon as they host the Xavier Musketeers. Will Marquette rebound from a defeat earlier in the week with a victory today?

College Basketball Betting Trends
The Musketeers are 17-8 ATS in their last 25 road games. Xavier is 2-5 ATS in its last seven Sunday games.
The Golden Eagles are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Marquette is 4-0 ATS in its last four Sunday games.
I don't really love either side on the spread enough to cast a bet, although I wouldn't be surprised if Marquette bounces back strong at home after its poor effort at St. John's earlier this week. But I'm instead going with the over for this game. Both of these teams are stronger on the offensive end of the floor than on defense while last year's two meetings ended with scores of 91-87 and 87-70. The over seems like the smartest play here.
