Hoosiers falter against Razorbacks

Indiana lost 71-64 at home Sunday against Arkansas to drop to 11-2 overall and 9-1 at home. The Hoosiers were outscored 38-26 in the second half of the loss. Trayce Jackson-Davis led Indiana with 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting plus 4-of-9 at the free throw line. He also pulled down six rebounds. Devonte Green accounted for 14 points and six assists.

Terrapins down Bulldogs

Maryland secured an 84-70 home win Sunday over Bryant to move to 11-2 overall and 8-0 at home. Anthony Cowan Jr. paced the Terrapins with 19 points on 4-of-11 shooting including 2-of-5 from 3-point range plus 9-of-9 at the charity stripe. He also dished out four assists. Aaron Wiggins had 15 points and nine rebounds. Jalen Smith added 11 points, 10 boards and two blocked shots. Maryland outscoed the Bulldogs 48-39 in the second half to pull away.

College Basketball Betting Trends

The Hoosiers are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall. Indiana is 1-5 ATS in its last six Saturday games.

The Terrapins are 36-17-4 ATS in their last 57 Saturday games. The favorite is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings.

Maryland is ahead of where the Hoosiers are right now, but Indiana at least has the semblance of a dynamic offense while its defense is lagging behind a bit. Although the Terrapins got the win over a much lesser opponent Sunday, they struggled the two previous games and lost both. I'm going to bank on the Hoosiers doing enough offensively to hang in there and at least make it a game that goes down to the final few possessions. I feel more comfortable taking the points in this spot.
