College Basketball Betting Trends

Iowa

The Hawkeyes are 7-15-1 ATS in their last 23 games versus the Big Ten. Iowa is 9-23-1 ATS in its last 33 road games.

Purdue

The Boilermakers are 8-20-1 ATS in their last 29 games overall. Purdue is 5-14 ATS in its last 19 home games.

Prediction:

Purdue is the better team here if not the ranked one, but also the Boilermakers have had a history under head coach Matt Painter of failing to cover double digit spreads and playing down to the competition. Playing down to Iowa probably won't be an issue, but I think the Hawkeyes are plenty good enough to stay within a number that seems too big. The Hawkeyes will be highly motivated to avoid 0-3 in the Big Ten and I'd imagine they can at least keep it within single digits.
