STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) -Mississippi State men’s basketball coach Rick Stansbury is out of the hospital, resting at home and deciding whether he will coach the Bulldogs against Cincinnati in the SEC/Big East Challenge on Thursday.
Stansbury checked into the hospital Sunday night complaining of headaches and flu-like symptoms. He was diagnosed on Tuesday with a viral infection that was treated with steroids.
Stansbury’s wife, Meo, said he was at home Wednesday evaluating whether he had the energy to travel to Cincinnati for the game.
