KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -Kansas and Texas hold the top two spots in the polls, not much of a surprise considering the depth and talent of both teams.
The rest of the Big 12? They’re not too bad, either.
With five teams in the Top 25 and a combined winning percentage of 82 percent, the Big 12 is holding steady as one of the nation’s power conferences.
The conference has three undefeated teams, including surprising Texas Tech, which is 9-0 for the first time in 80 years and moved up seven spots to No. 16 this week.
M, despite losing to New Mexico, which came in at No. 23.
The Big 12 has the fewest losses of all conferences with 20.
