BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -Indiana freshman guard Verdell Jones III was taken off the court on a stretcher with an injury in Sunday's basketball game against Cornell.
The nature of the injury wasn't immediately known.
Jones' head appeared to strike the shoulder of Cornell center Jeff Foote on a hard pick near midcourt during the first half.
Jones was on the court several minutes before being strapped to the stretcher and wheeled out.
