LOS ANGELES (AP) -Southern California forward Kasey Cunningham will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Wednesday to remove a piece of torn cartilage.
The school said Tuesday there was no timetable for his return.
Cunningham, a 6-foot-7 sophomore, was injured Sunday while making a basket to give the Trojans a 59-57 lead over Missouri midway through the second half at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off. He was hit on the left side of his knee as he went up to shoot.
Cunningham finished the game with a career-high 11 points and six rebounds in 14 minutes. USC was outscored 26-13 down the stretch in losing to the Tigers 83-72.
