CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Davidson basketball coach Bob McKillop has agreed to a multiyear contract extension, three months after the Wildcats' surprising NCAA tournament run.
A school spokesman said Friday the deal will be announced at a news conference Saturday morning.
McKillop is 340-225 in 19 seasons at Davidson.
Behind sophomore star Stephen Curry, Davidson upset Gonzaga, Georgetown and Wisconsin. Jason Richards then missed a shot at the buzzer in a 59-57 loss to eventual national champion Kansas.
