CINCINNATI (AP) -Xavier coach Sean Miller has agreed to a 10-year contract extension.
The 39-year-old Miller led the Musketeers to a 30-7 record and an NCAA Elite Eight appearance last season. He repeatedly has been a subject of speculation about major coaching vacancies.
Athletic director Mike Bobinski said Wednesday that it's the third extension Miller has received since he was hired in 2004 and the longest given a Xavier head coach. The new deal runs through the 2017-18 season.
