LORETTO, Pa. (AP) –Jimmy Langhurst scored 19 points as Robert Morris clinched the Northeast Conference regular-season title with a 74-62 win over St. Francis, Pa. on Thursday night.
Jeremy Chappell added 16 points for the Colonials (20-10, 14-3 Northeast Conference), setting a school record for career starts (115) and tying records for double-digit scoring games (96) and games played (119).
Devin Sweetney had 22 points and 11 rebounds for St. Francis (5-23, 2-15), which has lost 18 of its past 19 games. The Red Flash started the season 4-5 but have won just once since Dec. 6. Cale Nelson had his first-career double-double with 10 points and 10 assists, while Steve Profeta added 10 points.
Dallas Green had 13 points for The Colonials, who led 29-28 at the half and took control by scoring the first 10 points of the second half.
