HACKENSACK, N.J. (AP) – Coron Williams scored a season-high 27 points, hitting 8 of 10 3-pointers, as Robert Morris overwhelmed Fairleigh Dickinson 88-54 in Northeast Conference action to snap a three-game losing streak.
Williams was 9 of 12 from the field for the Colonials (9-7, 1-2), who shot 55.9 percent from the field (33 of 59) and 13 of 24 from long range.
Robert Morris closed out the first half on a 19-5 run to lead 44-25, then opened the second with a 17-4 spurt.
Mike McFadden and Stephan Hawkins scored 12 apiece for Robert Morris and Russell Johnson had his first double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Colonials took a 37-23 advantage on the glass.
Melquan Bolding scored 17 points and Kinu Rochford 13 for the Knights (6-9, 1-2), who have lost two games in a row.
Robert Morris has won 10 straight in the series.
