NEW YORK (AP) -Jeremy Goode scored 19 points to lead Mount St. Mary’s, Md., past St. Francis 74-62 on Saturday.
Jean Cajou added 14 points for the Mountaineers (7-9, 2-3 Northeast), who held a 40-26 lead at halftime. Kelly Beidler had 13 points and Sam Atupem had 10.
Jamaal Womack scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half for the Terriers (4-11, 2-3). Nigel Byam had 12 points and John Gooden added 11.
A 3-pointer by Stefan Perunicic gave St. Francis its last lead at 19-18. Mount St. Mary’s went on a 22-7 run to close out the half.
The Terriers used a 12-4 run to open the second half and trailed 44-38, but could get no closer.
