SEATTLE (AP) -Seattle rookie star Kevin Durant sprained his left index finger Saturday night late in the first quarter against Minnesota.
While X-rays on Durant’s non-shooting hand were negative, the team held him out the rest of the game as a precaution. Durant left with 9.2 seconds remaining in the period, holding his hands together as he walked off the court.
Durant was the second overall pick in the NBA draft.
