DALLAS (AP) -Mavericks forward Josh Howard left Tuesday night’s preseason game against the Chicago Bulls in the third quarter after spraining his left wrist.
Howard was on defense when he hurt the wrist while reacting to a pump-fake by Chicago’s Ben Gordon. A team spokesperson said Howard would miss the rest of the game and will be listed as day-to-day.
When he left the game, Howard was Dallas’ top scorer with 19 points.
