ATLANTA (AP) -Hawks forward Marvin Williams isn’t sure he’ll be able to play against the Boston Celtics in Game 7 of their first-round playoff series.
Williams sprained his left knee in the Hawks’ win Friday night, leading the team with 18 points. He took part in a walkthrough Saturday at Philips Arena before the team departed for Boston, but his knee was heavily taped and had ice on it.
He said the trainers listed him as doubtful for Sunday’s game. Coach Mike Woodson was more hopeful.
“My gut says he’ll probably play,” Woodson said.
