INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Pacers forward Jermaine O’Neal sat out the season finale against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
O’Neal, an All-Star, has been nursing a sore left knee for about a month. He finished the season averaging 19.4 points and 9.6 rebounds. He missed a total of 13 games this season due to injuries and illnesses, but the 69 games he played in was his highest total since the 2003-04 season.
Indiana center Jeff Foster also sat out with a sprained left ankle.
