TORONTO (AP) -New York Knicks forward Zach Randolph missed Friday’s game against the Raptors because of flu-like symptoms.
“Right now we’re just trying to keep him away from all the other guys,” coach Isiah Thomas said.
Randolph was replaced in the starting lineup by David Lee.
Randolph is averaging 17.5 points and a team-leading 10.3 rebounds in 60 games this season. He sat out games against Memphis and Minnesota last Friday and Saturday, but played 33 minutes in a loss to New Jersey on Monday, and 27 minutes in Wednesday’s victory over Miami.
