SEATTLE (AP) -The slumping Seattle SuperSonics were without guard Earl Watson and forward Chris Wilcox again Monday night, leaving the Sonics with only 11 healthy players.
Wilcox missed his third straight game with a sprained right pinkie, suffered last Wednesday night against Phoenix. Watson missed his fourth game of the season, being bothered of late by calf and finger injuries.
Wilcox is Seattle’s second-leading scorer at 13.4 points, while Watson is averaging 9.9 points and has started the last 49 games he’s played in.
To add another healthy body on its bench, Seattle signed guard Eddie Gill to a 10-day contract. Gill played in 13 games, including one start, with the New Jersey Nets earlier this season, and has played in 32 games for the Colorado 14ers in the NBA Development League.
