TORONTO (AP) -Chris Bosh plans to be back on the court Wednesday when the Toronto Raptors host the Miami Heat.
The Raptors forward posted the news on his Web site Tuesday, saying ``Great news! Fresh off the press! I'm playing tomorrow!''
It's good news for a Raptors squad that has struggled without its leading scorer and rebounder. Bosh has missed Toronto's last nine games with a sore right knee, and the Raptors (34-33) have gone 2-7 without him, including going 0-5 on their recent West Coast road swing.
Bosh has been increasing his workload gradually to prepare for his return.
``I've been working out for the past couple of days getting back in shape and my knee has responded pretty well,'' he said. ``I'm really excited because I've been waiting for a while now, watching on the bench every game. I'm finally back now!''
