ATLANTA (AP) -The Atlanta Hawks signed guard Jeremy Richardson for the rest of the season, general manager Billy Knight said Monday.
Richardson was signed earlier to two 10-day contracts with Atlanta and appeared in nine games, averaging 3 points and 6.6 minutes.
He played three games with Memphis and five with San Antonio this season.
The 6-foot-7, 195-pound Richardson spent much of the 2006-07 season in the NBA Development League.
He averaged 28.5 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.6 steals in eight games and was the MVP of the 2008 D-League All-Star game, scoring 22 points.
