INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -Police said officers arrested a man on a warrant for murder after he left the home of Indiana Pacers forward Shawne Williams.
Twenty-year-old Gary Bohannon of Tennessee was being held without bond Wednesday night in the Marion County Jail. Indianapolis police arrested Bohannon about 6 p.m. after he allegedly left Williams’ northside home in a truck registered to Williams.
Indianapolis police were working with U.S. marshals in Memphis, Tenn. Police were told Bohannon could be found at or near Williams’ home.
Police say Bohannon, also known as Roosevelt Rollins, was arrested in September on a drug charge when he was in a vehicle with Williams.
Williams left Wednesday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls at halftime. Pacers spokesman David Benner said he left for personal reasons.
