EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -Devin Harris says he won’t take Jason Kidd’s place in the Nets’ lineup for a week or more.
Harris is recovering from what he called a “grade two” ankle sprain. He has already missed three weeks with the injury.
He was acquired by the Nets in an eight-player deal on Tuesday that sent Kidd to the Dallas Mavericks.
Marcus Williams is expected to start at point guard when New Jersey faces the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
