ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -Josh Howard scored 28 points and the Dallas Mavericks overcame Hedo Turkoglu's triple-double to hold off the Orlando Magic 107-98 Monday night.
Dallas led by as many as 19, but Orlando got within 83-80 on Rashard Lewis' 3-pointer with 7:15 left. The Magic didn't score again for almost 5 minutes, and Dallas went on a 10-0 run to put the game away.
Turkoglu had 13 points, a career-high 13 assists and 12 rebounds, and Dwight Howard scored 28. But Howard, the NBA's rebounding leader averaging 15, had only seven, and Orlando was outrebounded 47-34.
Jason Terry scored 12 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter, Dirk Nowitzki had 20 points and nine rebounds and Brandon Bass scored 16 for Dallas.
The loss snaps a four-game winning streak for Orlando, and a two-game skid for Dallas. The Mavericks closed a four-game Eastern Conference road trip 2-2.
Jazz 110, Hornets 88
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Deron Williams had 29 points and 11 assists, and Utah set a team record for 3-pointers.

The meeting between division leaders was a rout, almost from the start.

Jannero Pargo led the Hornets with 24 points.
Rockets 92, Timberwolves 86
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Tracy McGrady had 26 points, six rebounds and seven assists, and surging Houston held on for the win.
Though McGrady had a season-high seven turnovers, he made the shots when they counted down the stretch, including the clinching 3-pointer with 30 seconds to go after Al Jefferson led the improving Wolves on an impressive rally. Jefferson had 33 points and 16 rebounds.
Since McGrady came back from his knee injury, Houston has won eight of nine. The Rockets also ran their road winning streak to eight.
Rashad McCants finished with 15 points for Minnesota, which had its four-game home winning streak end.
Raptors 114, Heat 82
Andrea Bargnani added 22 and Toronto shot 60 percent.
Anthony Parker scored 18 points for the Raptors, who delivered more indignity to Miami's season of epic struggle by handing the Heat their biggest loss of the year.

PHOENIX (AP) - Leandro Barbosa scored 30 points and Raja Bell added 24, including a season-high seven 3-pointers, to help Phoenix stay unbeaten against Charlotte.
Barbosa hit five 3-pointers as the Suns improved to 8-0 against Charlotte since the Bobcats' franchise was established in 2004. Amare Stoudemire added 24 points and Shawn Marion 14.

ATLANTA (AP) - Josh Smith had 19 points, nine assists and nine blocks to lead the Hawks to the win.
Josh Childress scored 21 points and Joe Johnson added 18 for Atlanta, which trailed by 20 in the first quarter.
The Hawks led 91-88 before turning the ball over on an offensive foul by rookie Al Horford with 1:20 left. Philadelphia rookie Thaddeus Young, a Georgia Tech product making his first return to Atlanta, missed on the other end, and a basket by Horford pushed the Hawks' lead to five.
Andre Miller scored 29 points and Andre Iguodala had 22 for the 76ers.
Clippers 103, Knicks 94
NEW YORK (AP) - Corey Maggette scored 19 points in his return to the lineup, and the Clippers snapped a nine-game road losing streak.

Kaman had missed five in a row total, the first with a left shin contusion.
The Clippers were led by assistant coach Kim Hughes, with Mike Dunleavy staying behind at the team hotel because he was sick.
Eddy Curry led the Knicks with 19 points.
Bulls 118, SuperSonics 108
SEATTLE (AP) - Joe Smith scored 25 points in his first game back after missing three with an injury and the Bulls defeated the SuperSonics.
Ben Gordon added 20 points for the Bulls, who won for just the second time in six games behind their third-highest scoring game of the season. Kirk Hinrich had 15 points and five assists for Chicago before he left the game in the fourth quarter with bruised ribs. He planned to stay behind and have tests done on the injury as the Bulls went on to Portland for Wednesday's game.
So much for the Sonics' season-high three-game winning streak, which came during a spate of unusually good defense immediately after a franchise-record 14 losses in a row. Seattle still hasn't won four straight since April, 2006.
Wally Szczerbiak led the Sonics with 21 points and rookie Kevin Durant added 20.
