CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -Dallas swingman Jerry Stackhouse left the Mavericks’ game Wednesday against Charlotte with a strained right hamstring.
Stackhouse, who had scored five points in seven minutes, came to the bench early in the second quarter, shortly after his fast-break dunk. Stackhouse went to the locker room for treatment and a team official said he would not return to the game.
The Mavericks were already playing without forward Brandon Bass, who flew to Dallas to get his right Achilles’ tendon examined. An MRI was negative, and Bass is listed as day-to-day.
