Ja Morant said he was “actually hurt” by Grizzlies fans telling him he should “sit back out” during his return in a loss vs. the visiting Thunder on Monday night. “Running down the court, I heard some of our fans courtside tell me I need to sit back out,” he said. “I just want to know what they wanted me to get out of that. I feel like that just makes it worse. Normally, when anybody says anything about me it fuels me. Tonight, the remarks from those fans actually hurt.” Morant said. “But I’ll do what I normally do and bounce back. Very excited to see this next game.” He wrote that he’ll be “off social media” for a while, and the Grizzlies may want to go into damage-control mode with their franchise centerpiece stung by his own fanbase. Morant had 16 points with eight assists and six boards in 28 minutes during his return, and he emerged from the game healthy, so at least there’s nothing for fantasy managers to fret about.

Steph Curry provided 30 points on 13-of-27 shooting, adding four assists, three rebounds and two blocks in Monday’s win over the Kings. Though Curry needed 27 shots to get there, he posted his second straight 30-point game. Threezus is in the middle of a mini-slump and is ranked just outside the top-25 over the last two weeks, but fantasy managers can take comfort in the fact that this is his floor. Curry’s ceiling is the best player in fantasy hoops and as long as he’s healthy, he should push for that title this season.
