Timberwolves at Celtics, 7:30PM ET
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Timberwolves are an 8-point road underdog versus the Celtics tonight while the total currently sits at 206 points. Minnesota is just 11-16 on the year and 12-14 against the spread, but the T-Wolves have thrived at the betting window on the road all season. They’re currently 10-3 at the betting window as an away team, winning games by an average of 3.4 in those situations. They’re also 9-3 against the spread as a road underdog, covering the spread at a +8.2 margin.
Magic at Knicks, 7:30PM ET
The second-best road bet in the NBA this season is Orlando, which visits New York tonight as a 2-point underdog. The Magic, which lost on Sunday night as a 1-point home favorite versus the Hawks, is 9-3-1 against the spread as a road team this season. The Magic is also 6-3-1 against the spread as a road dog, although its margin of victory is -3.0, so be careful if you’re playing Orlando +2 tonight. The Magic is also 3-1 against the spread playing on back-to-back nights this season, but is winning by a -2.2 margin.
Nets at Bulls, 8:00PM ET
From one extreme to the other: While the Timberwolves and Magic have been great road bets this season, the Bulls have been a horrible home play. Chicago, which hosts Brooklyn as a 10.5-point home favorite tonight, is just 3-10 against the spread as a home fave this season. The Bulls are winning by only an average of 3.3 points at home this season and are just 5-10 ATS at the United Center this season. The Nets, meanwhile, are 8-5 against the spread as a road dog but are still losing at a healthy average of -9.8 points in those games.
