Oklahoma City Thunder Fantasy Spin
Russell Westbrook triple-doubled in a 121-96 win over the Bulls on Monday, scoring 13 points with 16 rebounds and 11 assists. This was his seventh triple-double of the season and 111th of his career. He finished 5-of-13 from the field and 3-of-4 from the line with four turnovers, adding five steals in 32 minutes. Westy has an absurd 19 steals in his last four games which has bumped him up to a league-leading 2.5 per game as he continues to dominate four categories (points, rebounds, assists and steals) for his fantasy owners. His lack of triples, poor percentages and high turnovers have held his value in check, though.
Sacramento Kings Fantasy Spin
Willie Cauley-Stein played a season-low seven minutes vs. the Wolves on Monday with one point, one assist and one steal. He’s not injured, but his ego might be after the Kings were run out of the building. WCS was one of four starters who played 10 or less minutes, as coach Dave Joerger pulled the plug on this one super early. WCS will look to get back on track vs. the Thunder on Wednesday.
