Public Betting Trends
According to oddsmakers from online sportsbook BetNow.eu, the Trail Blazers are 6-point favorites to beat the Grizzlies. The total, meanwhile, sits at 201 points and as of this writing, 62% of the public betting tickets wagered at online sportsbooks are on the Trail Blazers to cover the point spread.
Memphis Grizzlies Fantasy Spin
Mike Conley (left hamstring soreness) is questionable for Wednesday vs. the Blazers. This comes from Grizzlies PR so all we have to work with is the questionable tag. If Conley is unable to play for a second straight game, the Grizzlies will rely on Shelvin Mack and Jevon Carter at PG again with Kyle Anderson running more offense. Mack is a better streaming option than Carter, but only offers low-end upside.
Portland Trail Blazers Fantasy Spin
Damian Lillard, who missed Sunday’s practice for personal reasons, lit up the Clippers to the tune of 39 points (11-of-20 FG, 11-of-13 FT), six assists, three rebounds, two steals and six 3-pointers in 36 minutes. Lillard’s in the midst of one of his best stretches of the season thus far, and that’s with his 4-of-18 performance in Portland’s December 10 loss to the Grizzlies. Over the last five games he’s averaging 27.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 3.6 3-pointers per game, shooting 48.3% from the field and 58.3% from three. Lillard’s also averaging 8.2 free throw attempts per game over the last five.
