NBA FREE PICK: Take Boston. According to latest NBA trends, Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games. Bulls are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games, 2-11 ATS in their last 13 home games.
The Celtics have a few days off after a tough loss at the Spurs. They just couldn’t keep up with their depth. Chicago lacks that kind of depth, especially with Derrick Rose and Richard Hamilton out with injuries. Boston beat them in their first meeting in Chicago, 101-95 because they shot 51% from the field. They were also able to neutralize though not stop Chicago’s frontcourt. It was the Boston backcourt, led by Rajon Rondo, who had 20 points and 10 assists that took over. Chicago will be playing the second night of a back-to-back after falling at Memphis, 80-71, on Monday. The Bulls had won seven of their previous nine games but had topped 100 points just twice in that span.
