They do have the ability to shoot the 3, as they are 36.8 percent from the arc. Karl-Anthony Towns is leading Minnesota on the year with 21.5 points and 11.8 rebounds per game, while Derrick Rose is adding 18.5 points and 4.5 assists per game.
Suns snap losing streak
The Phoenix Suns are coming off a 99-89 win over the Mavs at home on Thursday to end a 10-game losing streak. Phoenix is now 5-24 on the season, 4-11 at home, 10-19 against the spread and 17-12 with the under.

NBA Betting Trends
Minnesota
The Timberwolves are just 12-26 against the spread in their last 38 road games, but 5-1 against the spread in their last six games following a failed cover.
Phoenix
The Suns are 2-5 against the spread in their last seven home games and 6-21 ATS in their last 27 games following a cover.
Prediction:
Phoenix snapped their skid against Dallas, but the writing was on the wall for the Mavericks to struggle in that game. Prior to that, the Suns were getting demolished most nights. Minnesota has played three straight on the road against playoff contenders, so getting a chance to regroup against the Suns should help them get on track a little. Minnesota has more talent and more drive. If the T’Wolves can’t take care of business tonight, then they have some serious problems.
NBA Prediction: Minnesota Timberwolves -8.5
