Bulls vs. Bucks Prediction
Will the Bulls pull off the small upset tonight when they visit the Bucks in Milwaukee at 8:00PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Bucks are 2.5-point home favorites versus the Bulls while the over/under currently sits at 209 points. Milwaukee originally opened as a 1-point favorite before the line moved to 2.5, while the total hit the board at 209.5 and dropped a half point to 209.
BULLS KEY TRENDS: The Bulls are 6-2 against the spread in their last eight games coming off a loss and have covered in nine of 12 when facing teams from the Central division. They're also 7-3 against the number in their last 10 games when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game but have failed to cover in five of their last six games overall.
BUCKS KEY TRENDS: Milwaukee has failed to cover in 20 of 27 games against Eastern Conference competition and is just 7-18 at the betting window in its last 25 games after allowing 100 points or more in its previous game. The Bucks are also 5-12 against the spread in their last 17 games following an ATS loss and are just 1-4 ATS in their last five games after scoring 100 points or more in their previous game.
OUR PREDICTION: The Bulls are a good buy tonight as an underdog and I'd grab them at 2.5 before the line moves down to the key number of 2. Chicago has covered in four of its last five games against the Bucks and in 13 of 18 in Milwaukee. The Bulls have a defensive efficiency rating of 102.4, which ranks eighth in the NBA. The Bucks are a respectable 12th at 103.7, but turn the ball over more and lost three of four versus the Bulls a season ago. I like Jimmy Butler (25.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists in seven games this month) to lead the Bulls to victory tonight.
THURSDAY NBA PREDICTION: CHICAGO BULLS +2.5
