Knicks vs. Pacers Pick
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Pacers are a 10.5-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is 209 points.
New York comes in with an 11-11 overall record and 13-9 ATS after a 105-100 home loss to the Magic Sunday afternoon. Indiana is 12-11 overall and 14-9 ATS following a 120-115 loss at the Raptors. The Knicks won the first meeting this season 108-100 at home on Nov. 5. New York is 4-1 straight up and 4-1 ATS in five meetings since the start of last season.
The Knicks were paced by Michael Beasley with 21 points and three rebounds in the loss to Orlando. Courtney Lee tallied 19 points, five boards, two assists and two steals. Enes Kanter added 18 points, 16 rebounds and two assists. New York trailed 36-25 after one quarter and could not fully recover.
Indiana was led by Victor Oladipo with 36 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals and three blocked shots in the loss at Toronto. Myles Turner recorded 17 points and six rebounds. Darren Collison added 16 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals. The Pacers trailed 65-58 at halftime.
New York is 2-9 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Indiana, but 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Knicks are a much different team without Kristaps Porzingis in the lineup as evidenced by the loss to the Magic at home. Now on a back-to-back, this is a very tough spot but it's also a pretty sizeable spread against an Indiana team that is average at best. We like the Knicks to rally together and stay within the number tonight. Look for Kanter to put up some big numbers inside as he matches up with Turner.
