Heat struggling to cover at home, host OKC
The Miami Heat have struggled to cover the spread at home of late and are only a slight favorite tonight versus the Thunder at 7:00PM ET.
The Heat are just 1-5 against the spread in their last six home games and are just 2-6 at the betting window in their last eight games overall. They are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games coming off a loss but are also 1-5 ATS in their last six games played on Thursday.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Mybookie.ag have installed the Heat as a 2-point home underdog versus the Thunder for tonight’s game, while the total currently sits at 200.5 points. Oklahoma City won both meetings last year between these two teams, holding Miami to an average of 80.5 points.
Not surprisingly, public bettors love the Thunder to cover tonight. Of the wagers currently placed on tonight’s game, 74% of public bettors favor Oklahoma City to cover the 2 points.
