Pacers outlast Hawks in OT

Indiana downed visiting Atlanta 105-104 in overtime Friday night to improve to 12-6 overall and 9-2 at home. The Pacers were outscored 29-22 in the fourth quarter, but rebounded to outscore the Hawks 11-10 in the extra session. Jeremy Lamb paced Indiana with 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also contributed three rebounds and two assists. Domantas Sabonis tallied 17 points, 12 boards, two assists and two steals. Myles Turner registered 17 points, six caroms and four blocked shots. T.J. Warren had 16 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. Malcolm Brogdon added 17 points, seven dimes and six boards.

Sixers get past Knicks

Philadelphia registered a 101-95 win Friday night at New York to move to 13-6 overall and 5-6 on the road. The 76ers outscored the Knicks 62-44 in the second half of the victory to overcome a sluggish start. Joel Embiid paced Philly with 27 points on 7-of-19 shooting plus 13-of-15 at the free throw line. He also racked up 17 rebounds, three blocked shots and two assists. James Ennis III accumulated 20 points, four boards and two assists off the bench. Tobias Harris had 19 points, six caroms and two blocks. Ben Simmons added 15 points, eight assists, five rebounds and two steals.

NBA Betting Trends

The Pacers are 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall. Indiana is 0-4 ATS in its last four Saturday games.

The Sixers are 4-1 ATS in their last four games versus the Central Division. Philadelphia is 2-6 ATS in its last eight games versus the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia has been a completely different team at home this season and as long as its regulars are in the lineup on a back-to-back, I like the hosts here. Indiana had an OT game last night with travel and haven't been nearly as good on the road. Embiid seems to be on a mission this week after the Toronto disaster and I think that will continue here.
