The Nuggets led by two after one quarter before outscoring the Wizards 39-24 in the second quarter to take full control. Jerami Grant led Washington with 20 points off the bench on 7-of-13 shooting including 1-of-4 shooting from 3-point range plus 5-of-7 at the free throw line. He also accounted for four rebounds and two steals. Will Barton tallied 17 points, eight boards and eight assists. Jamal Murray had 16 points, three steals, two assists and two rebounds. Kings fall at Sixers

The Kings trailed by one at halftime before being outscored 29-19 in the third quarter en route to the defeat. NBA Betting Trends

The Nuggets are 5-1 ATS in their last six games overall. Denver is 1-4-1 ATS in its last six Saturday games.

The Kings are 4-0 ATS in their last four home games. Sacramento is 4-0 ATS in its last four games versus the Western Conference.

Sacramento has been much better at home lately and returns after a road trip. Standing in its way, however, is a very good Denver team that has been up to par for the most part on the road. But in this situation, I like the home dogs as it has a pair of talented backcourt scorers in Hield and Bogdanovic that can keep the squad in any game. The Sacramento crowd is at its best against strong opponents and I think the energy will be there for a good enough performance today for the hosts to stay within the number and perhaps win outright.
