New York fell by a 115-108 score Tuesday night at Detroit in the front end of a road back-to-back. The Knicks (7-15) trailed 51-43 at halftime and were unable to make headway after the break. Tim Hardaway Jr. tallied 19 points, six boards, three assists and two steals. Damyean Dotson had 17 points in 23 minutes off the bench. Enes Kanter contributed 16 points, 14 rebounds and two assists.
Butler sends Philly to win on late 3-pointer
Jimmy Butler hit a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds remaining Sunday night to send Philadelphia to a 127-125 victory at Brooklyn. It ended a stellar game for Butler as he poured in 34 points on 11-of-20 shooting including 5-of-6 on 3-pointers. He tallied 12 rebounds, four steals and two assists. The 76ers outscored the Nets 38-23 in the fourth quarter to climb back in it. Joel Embiid registered 32 points, 12 boards, four assists and two blocked shots. Landry Shamet had 16 points and two rebounds off the bench. J.J. Redick contributed 15 points, four rebounds and two dimes. Ben Simmons had 13 points, nine assists, five boards, three steals and two blocks. Wilson Chandler added 10 points, five assists and three rebounds.
NBA Betting Trends
The Knicks are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. New York is 0-4 ATS in its last four games in Philadelphia.
The under is 14-3 in the last 17 meetings in Philadelphia. The Sixers are 7-1 ATS in the last seven meetings.
New York has to travel in after losing by seven at the Pistons and faces one of the NBA's most home-dominant teams. No thanks. This game has blowout written all over it and I suspect the Sixers will be tuned in throughout after losing at home to the Cavs by nine their previous home contest. Give the points and take the hosts.
