Bucks vs. Kings Pick
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Bucks are a 6.5-point favorite on the spread line. The total sits at 198 points.
Milwaukee comes in with a 9-9 overall record and 7-9-2 ATS after a 121-108 loss at the Jazz. Sacramento is 6-14 overall and 8-10-2 ATS following a 110-106 upset win at the Warriors. The Bucks went 2-0 straight up and 2-0 ATS in two meetings last season. The over went 2-0.
In the loss at Utah, Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 27 points along with 13 rebounds and five assists. Malcolm Brogdon had 19 points, four boards and two assists off the bench. Eric Bledsoe had 18 points and seven boards, while Tony Snell added 18 points off the bench. The Bucks trailed 64-57 at halftime and were outscored in every quarter.
The Kings benefited greatly in the victory at Golden State by stars Kevin Durant and Steph Curry sitting out for the Warriors. Willie Cauley-Stein paced Sacramento with 19 points, eight boards, six assists and two blocked shots off the bench. George Hill scored 16 points. Garrett Temple had 14 points, three rebounds and three assists. Frank Mason III added 14 points, four assists and three rebounds off the bench. The Kings outscored the hosts 57-51 in the second half.
Milwaukee is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Sacramento. The over is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings.
The Bucks have been up-and-down since the trade for Bledsoe, dropping three out of their last four games. Oddly enough, Antetokounmpo missed the lone win along with several other players due to injury in Phoenix. But this team should still be far better than what it has displayed and tonight could be a get-right opportunity against a poor Sacramento squad. The Kings lucked out with Curry and Durant being out at Golden State, so that win can be taken with a heavy grain of salt. We like Milwaukee to roll to the win tonight.
