Heat hammer Cavs

Miami cruised to a 124-100 home victory Wednesday night over Cleveland to improve to 10-3 overall and 6-0 at home. The Heat led 75-48 at halftime en route to the easy win. Duncan Robinson paced Miami with 29 points on 9-of-15 shooting, all from 3-point range, plus 2-of-2 at the free throw line. He also brought down two rebounds. Tyler Herro accounted for 22 points, three boards and three assists off the bench. Jimmy Butler registered 21 points, five caroms, five assists, four blocked shots and two steals. Bam Adebayo had 13 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three assists. Goran Dragic tallied 13 points, six assists and four boards off the bench. Kendrick Dunn racked up 11 points, six dimes and two boards. Kelly Olynyk added 10 points, six rebounds and two assists as a reserve.

Bulls cruise past Pistons

Chicago recorded a 109-89 home win over Detroit Wednesday night to move to 5-10 overall and 3-5 at home. The Bulls outscored the Pistons 50-34 in the second half to pull away. Lauri Markkanen led Chicago with 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting including 3-of-4 from 3-point distance plus 7-of-11 at the free throw line. He also tallied six rebounds and two blocked shots. Shaquille Harrison registered 15 points, 11 boards, five assists and three steals. Tomas Satoransky had 15 points, seven assists, four caroms and two steals. Wendell Carter Jr. accounted for 12 points and 15 rebounds. Coby White added 12 points and five boards off the bench.

NBA Betting Trends

The Heat are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall. Miami is 4-0 ATS in its last four games versus the Central Division.

The Bulls are 6-1 ATS in their last seven Friday games. Chicago is 8-21 ATS in its last 29 home games.

As good as Miami has been, it is a little vulnerable on the road as evidenced by its 4-3 straight up road record compared to being unbeaten at home. The Bulls are coming in with confidence after dominating the Pistons and I like for that to carry over here. Chicago has a lot of its pieces in place and it's just a matter of growth with each game. The Bulls have been competitive in most games lately, especially at home, and I'm going to take a shot on them here.
