Lakers vs. Kings Pick
Are the Los Angeles Lakers going to win for a second straight night when they play at the Sacramento Kings tonight at 10:30PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Lakers are a 1-point favorite on the spread line. The over-under is set at 207 points.
Los Angeles comes into play with an 8-10 record and 7-10 ATS after a 103-94 home victory Tuesday night over the Bulls. Sacramento is 4-13 overall and 5-10-2 ATS after a 114-98 home loss to the Nuggets. The four meetings last season went 2-2 straight up and 2-2 ATS. The under went 4-0.
The Lakers were paced by Kyle Kuzma with 22 points and five assists in the win over Chicago. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed 21 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. Brandon Ingram added 17 points, five rebounds and five assists. Los Angeles outscored the Bulls 61-38 in the second half.
George Hill had 16 points and four steals in the loss to Denver. Kosta Koufos put in 16 points to go with three blocks off the bench. Zach Randolph contributed 12 points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. De’Aaron Fox added 12 points and five assists. The Kings were outscored 67-51 in the second half.
The Lakers are 3-8-1 ATS in the last 12 meetings. The over is 18-8 in the last 26 meetings in Sacramento.
Sacramento has more rest and remained at home, while LA is coming off a win last night and had to make the quick trip up the coast of California to Sacramento. While the Kings are not a very good basketball team, they have proven to be tough at times at home and the Lakers are the right opponent to take advantage of. Look for Fox to win the individual matchup with fellow rookie Lonzo Ball at point guard and lift the hosts to victory.
